- sYnerGi GS Soundfont v1.1 - The 32bit depth, warmth and
expression your SoundBlaster Live! deserves.
sYnerGi GS is a professional GM/GS SoundFont for SoundBlaster
Live!/Audigy/EMU APS sound cards. The SoundFonts purpose is to
replace the 2/4 or 8Mb SoundFonts which come with these sound
cards, thus producing higher quality audio and MIDI file
rendering.
Using our 8 years experience of audio equipment, professional
recording and sampling, we know how to make a SoundFont. This
experience has allowed us to 'cram' an immense amount of sample
data into the SoundFont, and allow sYnerGi GS to excel banks that
are twice its size.
There is a large selection of variation tones included in the
soundfont, so really you are getting a lot more than just one GM bank. Many other
commercial soundfonts don't bother to add any of the GS variation
tones, But we wanted our SoundFont to be as compatible as
possible.
Thus, we've included XG compatible drum kits for extra
compatibility. These include drum rolls and extra snare and bass
drums. High quality acoustic drums are also thrown in, each with
velocity layered responsive kicks and snares.
The kits included in sYnerGi GS are: Standard Kit, Standard
2, Brite Kit, Room Kit, Dark Room Kit, Power Kit, Slam Kit,
Electronic Kit, Vintage Analog Kit, Analog Kit, HipHop Kit, Dance
Kit, Jungle Kit, Tramp Kit, Jazz Kit, Brush Kit and the Orchestra
Set.
This is the third sYnerGi SoundFont to have 32bit
pre-processed samples. Each sample is painstakingly crafted to
provide the added depth, warmth, but also clarity other SoundFonts
(including the 100Mb free ones) just don't have.
Remember these are original professionally edited and looped
samples with crystal clarity and not the recycled media found
in SoundFonts from other sites. Many people are skeptical when they
hear of commercial SoundFonts, but just think of all the hassle the
'one off' payment will save you.
For customers familiar with sYnerGi 200 (our previous
SoundFont), you may be pleased to know that sYnerGi GS further
improves the realism of playback over all prior versions. Why not
